Over Piemonte

MisschienMaybe you will know the cities of Torino, Novara, Alba, Asti: beautiful cities in Piemonte. But Piemonte has much more to offer: it is the home region of Italy's most important wine: Barolo DOCG, King of the wine. And apart from Barolo there is much more: regions like the Langhe, Monferrato, Roero, Dogliani, Colli Tortonesi, Alto Piemonte, all have interesting wines, many indigenous grapes and much more.. and this is the reason why it is so interesting to discover Piemonte: it is Italy's most important wine region. The Piemontese gastronomy is world famous. And: do not forget about the TRUFFLES in autumn!

A Wine Tour in Piemonte is not only about drinking wine, it is also about the pleasure of learning about authentic family companies, new grape varieties, taste, culture, and about Slow Food (also Piemonte!)... And.. about Piemonte's wonderful landscape. It is a pleasure to take you with me on a visit to some well known and to some completely unknown places!

Participate to the WINE TOUR through PIEMONTE!

Provisional Program for 3 days

• Day 1 visit to wineries in Barolo and Barbaresco
• Day 2 visit to a winery in the Roero region and one in the Northern part of Monferrato
• Day 3 visit to one of the beautiful cities of Monferrato, tasting of some of Monferrato's most original wines, and a typical Monferrato dinner
• Each day we will have – apart from guided visits to wine cellars and interesting wine tastings - a lunch and a typical Piemontese dinner in authentic style. A rustic lunch in a wine cellar is included.

Provisional Program for 4 days

• Day 1 visit to wineries in Barolo and Barbaresco
• Day 2 visit to a winery in the Roero region and one in the Northern part of Monferrato
• Day 3 visit to one of the beautiful cities of Monferrato, tasting of some of Monferrato's most original wines, and a typical Monferrato dinner
• Day 4 visit to one of the most authentic and unspoiled regions of south East Piemonte: a discovery of interesting new grape varieties and unknown wines
• Each day we will have – apart from guided visits to wine cellars and interesting wine tastings - a lunch and a typical Piemontese dinner in authentic style. A rustic lunch in a wine cellar is included.
